Lincoln Property Company is currently hiring for a Compliance Monitor to work in conjunction with the Regional Compliance Specialist and Regional Property Managers to ensure compliance of the Affordable Housing Programs at the communities. To ensure that each staff members receives training for the particular affordable programs offered at the communities.The Compliance Monitor is responsible for monitoring all affordable housing programs that are designated to each of our properties. One of the primary duties of this position will be reviewing resident certification and re-certification files, as well as completing and submitting agency reports.Does this sound like you? Join us!

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring each propertys affordable housing programs to ensure that all target numbers are met.
  • Reviewing all pre-move in certification files to make sure that all households are income qualified before the households move in.
  • Ensure affordability levels are maintained, applicable rents and utility allowances are in place which will be reviewed on all pre-move in and re-certification files. During the review of all files it is imperative that the compliance monitor ensures that each resident file contains all required and acceptable documentation/verifications.
  • Assist in administrative duties for the Compliance Department by maintaining reports, filing and organizing data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with Affordable Yardi.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete multiple projects with different deadlines.
  • Knowledge of TDHCA regulations and affordable housing programs.
  • 2 + years LIHTC experience
  • 2 + years of previous management experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Strong Organization skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding of Compliance & Site Relationship i.e. how does compliance impact site operation and financial success.
