Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of an Enterprise Systems Engineer:

As the Lincoln Military Housing Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for enterprise-wide software installation, configuration, and management. You will need to be a Windows/Cloud/Enterprise Application expert. Your position supports the applications that run our organization and continuously improves our software environments by updating, upgrading, reconfiguring, deploying necessary patches, releases, configs to ensure stability and continuity across the enterprise. Stays current with, and regularly communicates and mitigates all material risks within your area of responsibility. In your role you will work closely with IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, Operations, Marketing, Legal, HR and other departments to align system configurations to business requirements and policies. This position requires a deep technical background and significant experience with Windows Environments, Cloud Platforms, HRMS, ITMS, SSO, EPP systems and services.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee, support, and continuously improve all software platforms/applications, including identifying and recommending new technology solutions. Administration of various business system software.
  • Stays up to date with systems changes and updates to ensure knowledge of business systems is globally understood.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, implementations, and maintenance when required.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster recovery design/implementation.
  • Communicating and collaboration with the technology team and other departments as required.
  • Working closely with the National Training Department to implement and improve training processes.
  • Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.
  • Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.
  • Primary Application Support: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory, Okta, ServiceNow, Google Workplace, Google Cloud Platform, Linux/Unix, Symantec ITMS (Altiris), Crowdstrike, Spybot/Malwarebytes, Powershell, Bash, Batch Scripting, VBS.
  • Secondary Application Support: Certify, Halogen, iCIMs, Docusign, Origami, PrinterLogic, RingCentral, LogMeIn rescue.
  • Performs other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

What You Need for Success:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computers, Software, IT, Enterprise Property Management.
  • 5+ years of IT application management experience preferably in the real estate/property management industry.
  • 5+ years collaborating with teams of 20+ IT professionals across Help Desk, System Administration, Database and Development.
  • 3+ years supporting 1,000+ employees/workstations.
  • 2+ years managing single sign-on (SSO).
  • 2+ years knowledge of SOCs, EPP, vulnerability scans, pen tests.
  • 2+ years working with 3rd party APIs and integration.
  • 5+ years of scripting, data syncing, imports/exports, automation (powershell, vbscript a plus).
  • Multifaceted application support background with proven ability to hyper-task with daily operations while concurrently progressing short- and long-term projects.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills. Exceptional understanding of each issue along with the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical people is a must.
