Willow Bridge is currently hiring for an experienced Lifeguard to oversee and maintain continuous supervision of patrons at the multifamily residential community pools. Responsibilities Your duties are to proactively identify hazards or potential hazards, take measures to prevent accidents and supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols. Your role will be required to effectively communicate, be attentive to safety protocols to provide assistance in a safe manner and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Willow Bridge Property Companys quality customer satisfaction standards. Assist patrons with signing in to the pool. Supervise the patrons as they utilize the pool. Be fully aware and attentive at all times while on duty. Control and report unruly behavior of individuals not adhering to behavior pool protocols Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene. Maintain a clean pool deck, and furniture to ensure safety from any damages. Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance. Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, managers, vendors or residents sufficiently to exchange or convey information and to give or receive work direction. Basic computer skills (able to operate mobile device, PC). Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances. Must have a flexible schedule. Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Must be willing to work indoor/outdoor environments, in all weather conditions, and potentially hazardous conditions. A valid driver's license is required Must be able to work until Labor Day Qualifications Must be able to successfully complete American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Title 22 and CPR for the Professional Rescuer courses. Must be able to successfully complete a 300-yard swim, two minute tread without using arms and a brick retrieval. Maintain satisfactory knowledge on all skills throughout the season. Basic computer skills (able to operate mobile device, PC). Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances. Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations. Must have a flexible schedule. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities. Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs. Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
